Educational Opportunities
The Grantmaking School courses go well beyond a workshop approach to employ curriculum design that is highly rated by grantmakers from more than 200 U.S. foundations. Our faculty is among the most experienced grantmakers in the nation with diverse experience across both foundation type and size. The Grantmaking School currently offers two courses for foundation professionals, including Advanced Grant Proposal Analysis and Advanced Grant Portfolio Management.
Advanced Proposal Analysis: A Critical Explanation of Complex Issues
Advanced Proposal Analysis focuses on the essential skills of proposal review, recommendations, project management, and other core competency areas of grantmaking.
Advanced Grant Portfolio Management: A Framework for Strategic Grantmaking
Advanced Grant Portfolio Management is an intensive two-day learning experience designed to help individual grantmakers and their foundations develop or refine a strategic lens to grantmaking and leverage improved program results and deeper foundation impact.
Grant Financial Analysis
Grant Financial Analysis is a course designed to provide grantmakers with the necessary knowledge and skills to conduct a comprehensive and effective analysis of organizational and programmatic financial information to improve funding decisions.
